We are always looking at how we can improve the driving range and ensure it's a premium place to practice for WGC members. Our recent additions of yellow Mizuno balls, and of course, the new Huxley flooring, have had great feedback, and now we are looking to sort out our background wall...
We have had a vision for quite a while to have a background PANO photo of Worthing Golf Club (where the current mirrors are behind the mats). This would be very unique- in fact, we can't recall seeing this at any driving ranges!
We are asking for members to put their photography skills to the test and take some PANORAMIC (very wide horizontal size) photos of the course. This can be any course/holes, high/low, and any time of the day- it's up to you! The top photos will go to the committee, who will have the pleasure of picking the image used. The time frame would be the end of September or early October, with the intention of work starting shortly after. Brewers will be helping us enormously with the project, which we are extremely grateful for.
David Smith has taken some brilliant images already, which have been photoshopped to show what the end result could look like. Jez Coates has also been early to the party and taken some brilliant snaps of the course.
